Our Privacy Policy : 

Public Hospitality Group Pty Ltd (ACN 653 935 463) is a privately-owned hospitality group operating a number of venues in New South Wales and Victoria. The hospitality venues are operated under the following entities (herein known as ‘Affiliated Companies’): 

  • Public Lifestyle Management Pty Ltd (ACN 647 247 792).

  • Oxford Rose Pty Ltd (ACN 651 837 642) as trustee for The Oxford Rose Unit Trust (ABN 78 165 699 779).

  • The Oxford Paddington Pty Ltd (ACN 651 863 735) as trustee for The Oxford Paddington Unit Trust (ABN 43 133 970 918).

  • The Vine at Collingwood Pty Ltd (ACN 652 906 306) as trustee for Vine Unit Trust (ABN 79 604 316 075). 

  • Norfolk Holdings Co Pty Ltd (ACN 646 891 027) as trustee for Norfolk Holdings Trust (ABN 93 684 048 715).

  • 99 William Street Pty Ltd (ACN 648 890 742) as trustee for 99 William Street Unit Trust (ABN 80 922 771 781).

  • 146 Henderson Street Pty Ltd (ACN 645 793 193) as trustee for 146 Henderson Street Unit Trust (ABN 94 927 334 239).

  • Empire Hotel Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 649 666 679) as trustee for Empire Holdings Unit Trust (ABN 16 713 827 792).

Public Hospitality Group and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing high quality experiences to its patrons and clients whilst protecting their personal information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The National Privacy Principles (PPPs) govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your personal information. A copy of the Australian Privacy Principles may be obtained from the website of The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.aoic.gov.au.

What Is Personal Information and Why Do We Collect It?

Personal information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. This includes: your name, title, gender, address, email address, payment details and phone number.

We collect your personal information in a number of ways, including:

  • using our websites, including: (list all URLs);

  • interacting with us on our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter);

  • posting comments/reviews about us on any online forum;

  • providing personal information via telephone or online bookings;

  • making enquiries with us whether that be online or by communicating with staff at a venue;

  • by visiting one of our venues;

  • managing and administering our goods and services; 

  • billing and financial information, such as credit card, bank account or other payment details;

  • your image which is collected via Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage; and

  • email capture devices (subscription services).

We collect your personal information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and for marketing purposes. We may also use your personal information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.

Marketing

Where applicable, Public Hospitality Group will use your personal information to contact you via mail, SMS, email, telephone or online to tell you about promotions, offers, news and services that you might be interested in. We will only do this where you have consented/opted-in to receiving such information. You can contact us to update your marketing preferences or alternatively you may opt-out of such communications via our opt-out policy. 

Video Surveillance

Providing a safe environment for our patrons is a priority and as a result all our venues are under 24-hour video surveillance. We are required under liquor licenses laws to have CCTV installed in all our venues and to the retain footage for thirty days (unless it is required for an investigation, for example, in respect of suspected breaches or activities in which case it will be held for a longer period). All patron’s movements upon entering our venues will be subject to monitoring by security systems such as but not limited to CCTV and body worn video which includes audio. By entering our venues you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

Third Parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your personal information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with your personal information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Please note that our venues offer Wi-Fi services to patrons which is provided by a third-party provider called CompNow. CompNow’s collection of your personal information (including but not limited to your name, age and email address) when accessing and using the Wi-Fi services is subject to CompNow’s end-user Privacy Policy which is found at the following link (https://www.compnow.com.au/privacy-policy).

To comply with our obligations under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW), upon entrance at our venues you may also be required to scan your identification card at entry points using a device provided by third parties. The personal information collected during this process may include your name, gender, photo, date of birth and the type of identification card used. If required, we may access the personal information collected by the scanning service, for example, if you are subject to a banning order.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Your personal information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:

  • Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and

  • Where required or authorised by law.

Public Hospitality Group Pty Ltd and its Affiliated Companies also reserve the right to share your personal information between each other from time to time for the purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy. 

Security of Personal Information

Your personal information is stored in a manner that fairly and reasonably protects it from misuse, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. In doing so, Public Hospitality Group and its Affiliate Companies operate under reputable and secure data networks protected by firewall and password protection systems. 

Access to Your Personal Information

You may access the personal information we hold about you to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access the personal information that we hold, please contact us in writing. We will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your personal information. To protect your personal information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is important to us that your personal information is up to date, therefore we will respond to all requests to update your personal information within a reasonable time.

If you find that the personal information we hold is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide tailored communications to you.

Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time at our discretion, without notice to you.
